Michigan Nordic Fire Festival Pet Policy

Well behaved pets are allowed on festival grounds if kept on a leash. Costume is not required, but always appreciated!

ou are expected to be respectful of all of the other festival guests.  If your pet begins barking, getting into the trash, fighting with other guest’s pets, or creating other disruptions, you will be expected to remove your pet from festival grounds.  You must bring bags to pick up after your pet and dispose of the droppings in a trash container.

Pets will not be allowed in the mead hall because of the crowded, noisy situation, presence of food, and presence of alcoholic beverages. Trained, certified service animals that provide specific tasks in accordance with the ADA are permitted. Emotional support animals that are not trained and certified service animals are not permitted in the mead hall.

Guests who bring a pet and who do not comply with this policy will be politely asked to remove the pet from the festival as a courtesy to all of the other guests.
