Burn off those candy calories before Trick-or-Treating even starts and participate in the 2016 Storming Valhalla Viking 5K Fun Run/Walk put on by Michigan Nordic Fire Festival™. The run is a non-timed event run on streets and park trails. There will be a FREE kids dash before the main race. Registration/Check in is 4:00pm.  Run begins at 4:45pm.  Free, public bonfire at 6:00pm with food and beverages available for purchase.

Location for Fun Run and bonfire will be at Lincoln Park in Charlotte, MI.  Address is:  620 W Shepherd St.

Prizes for best individual Viking costume, best group costume, best dog costume, youngest runner, and oldest runner.
  • Registration fees are $25 until October 15, 2016, $35 after October 15 and you can register day of.
  • Runners need to be at Lincoln Park a half hour before 5k starts.
  • 5k starts at 4:45 
  • Kids' Dash starts a 4:15 (free event)
  • Path starts at Lincoln Park and will go around the loop in Veterans' Park.
  • Runners need to be present thirty minutes before run starts.​​​
